The making of this album has had it share of challenges to say the least. And I wouldn't even be writing this if it wasn't for another one of those special people in my life, Darla Berg, who insisted that I "tell my story". So here it goes...

I was getting ready to start recording this album (number 3) in late 1993 after coming off my successful 2nd album "Modern Woman Renaissance Man" that was heard worldwide. Then January 11th, 1994, I was in a serious automobile accident... (not my fault) that caused serious injuries to my arms, back and neck.

I was unable to play the piano at all which left me devastated and extremely depressed.

It was about 2 months after the accident that I was able to begin to push the keys down for just a couple of minutes. I was in physical therapy for what seemed to be like forever and my playing time only grew by what seemed to be like seconds. Very frustrating!

It has been many years since that accident and I am still working on gaining back the full use of my hands as they once were. I am still very limited on how long I can play.

The obstacles I have had to overcome and are still working to overcome to produce this album were at times what seemed to be impossible situations... but I was just too stubborn to give up. I knew that it was when things seemed the worst that I must not quit... so I didn't.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who was a part of making this project possible and to my fans that have waited patiently for me to recover and bring them more music...You are the best!

For those of you who are new to my music, I hope you enjoy it.

For those of you who have been waiting, I hope it has been worth the wait.
