Alan Ripa Web Art Gallery / "Desert Rabbit" 36' X 48"
A very experimental approach to creating this painting was used and it was completed in the summer of 2005. The paint on this cavas was in a way "melted" together and moved about the canvas using various techniques. Interesting enough... when the painting was completed, images were seen to appear that Alan had not intentionally put in. In the center of this painting is an image of a rabbit standing on its rear legs. Because of the bronze metalic paint used in this piece resulting in a look of the Desert; it is then why it was called "Desert Rabbit." See if you can find a Polar Bear and the Face of a Man in this painting along with a few other images.
